it seems to me that the purpose behind his designs is specifically martial, and I don't think a growing interest in that type of knife use is entirely 'good' for the custom and handmade knife industry, especially when the 'authorities' seem to be coming down so hard on knife carry. Maybe a growing interest in this type of knife is a reaction to that. Who knows.
Stealth, non magnetic tactical knives which appear to be made only to cut human flesh- not for most 'practical' cutting- is something that makes people who already have a hate on for knives queasy. Or so I would think.
There is no doubt his designs are cool, and he is a pioneer when it comes to the use of some materials, but I personally would have zero use for one of his knives, and no interest in owning one. There is also little doubt that the quality is there, I must add.
I can understand why a person who collects things tactical would love these things and that's all good, they're just not my bag.
