It was pretty standard practice back in the Kershaw subforum before it got shut down

Ahhh ...I only got to make a few posts there before it was closed, and the help I received made it easy to get the correct torx driver to loosen the pivot on my new 1725ST ...kinda ironic winning a Kershaw factory Torx driver now but I will enjoy having it none-the-less.

As an aside, I just purchased a Junk Yard Dog I last weekend. :thumbup:

Now I am after a 1725SG-1 and the ZT0200 ...the chase never ends!

I loved the JYDI so much that I went a head and purchased a Ti & SG2 JYDII a few weeks later. I ended up gifting it away to a friend though.

If that be me, it is due to having the good manners to read follow up posts in a thread that I have posted in ...this time I received an unexpected but very pleasant surprise thanks to you!

As an aside, I wish I had had the chance to spend more time with the Kershaw sub-forum, it was a welcoming place to newcomers plus it was a great source of Kershaw/ZT info ...it is missed!

No!!! Don't you remember his story? His friend liked the Sg2 so he gave him a JYD1 because he didn't want to scare his friend with the Sg2's price tag.

Jonnymac44, I gifted the JYD not the Ti JYDII, maybe you should re-read my post. (although he did offer to buy the JYDII but I just laughed (knowing if I told him the price he would slowly lower it) and gave him the JYD as his first decent pocket knife.
