Was is das?

Very interesting. 440C should work nicely on the M-A.
I have one of theirs. It's sort of a scary version of a LaGriffe. :D

I like them very much. I was showing my brother in law, who is a police officer, my Miltner-Adams: I reached my fingertips into my shirt and pulled back out -- with the knife securely gripped and pointing outward. He was really surprised how easily it deployed and how obviously dangerous a close-in blade it was. He said that was exactly what police worried about.

By the way, AS SOON AS the Cop Tools are out ... ha ha ha ha ha ... I'm getting one for me and one for him. I know it won't be long ... I keep checking constantly, though. You really have a fine security line-up.

I like the look of the Wagner, a freaky sort of stiletto. Cold Steel has a line of similar Spikes and a high-priced folder, but this is much more flexible and effective.

Wow! The Miltner-Adams blade on regular production. Looks to be a great addition to the kit!

As for the JW Urban-Survival, hmmmmm, I'd like to hear how it carries in "the field".

You could carry that knife in swim trunks. :)
Clip it to a shirt pocket.

I couldn't find what steel they use.

Ooh, damn, I want the Urban Survival...

What I'd use it for, absolutely NFI, but I still want one! Given that most of our local suppliers get stuff via the US, when's it out over there?

And while I'm dreaming (current exchange rates = :( ), any chance of a test sample for Australia?:p

Edit: Never mind, saw it on the link Marketing posted, beginning of 09 or maybe before Christmas, I take it that's for the US.

I think the catalog listed it at about 40 euro. That's not going to be bad, maybe $25 US street price.

Thanks for the info Esav, that doesn't sound too bad then. Let's see... about 40 AUD at the current rate... sounds good!

Edit: The more I think about it, the more I'm interested. If the clip's done right, it'd be more discrete than pocket carry (main reason why I carry IWB), and a heck of a lot more comfortable and accessible than IWB. Any info on what the other side looks like?

Is the pen-sized urban scalpel knife ambidexterous?

Hey Tyr...
I haven't seen one in person, but from the design drawings, and how the clip is attached, I believe it is.

I know when they come in, I am picking up a few.
Thanks, Terry

I don't know how good the lock is or how useful the bladeshape would be but I think that'd be good for a small survival kit you could throw in your pocket.
