Was is das?

Alright guys, I have finally seen the prototype for the MA-2.
Wow, is it nice. Good sheath, great retention, sharp.
Really steep edge grind, comes in at 45 deg.
MSRP of $29.95.
Still waiting on an ETA, but it shouldn't be too long.

is the MA-2 shipping, it's on toolshop.de. I might send some to our guys in Afghan if they are being sold stateside.

sigh, bump, I see a site has it arriving at the end of the month, will anyone confirm

Hey Guys,
The Urban Survival arrived today, very nice...
Model number 01BO047, our MSRP $39.95.
We have plenty in stock as well.

Still have not received the M-A2, but I will let you know.

45º? - can't see how that could be useful other than as a stabber - is that all it's designed to do? Very interesting concept but I'd want something with a bit more versatility

Actually, I have been carrying one for a bit now, and using it around the office and warehouse.
It cuts surprisingly well, and on test cutting, it surpassed what I expected.
Not like a razor, obviously, but better than I thought it would.

The M-A is not really a stabber, too short to go deep, but it will slash. From the pictures it looks like it's a right-hand chisel grind, more user-friendly than the original's left-hand grind.

Do we have any hard information on the Urban Survival's steel?
440C would be outstanding but I'd be OK with AUS-8.
