Being a into snakes I couldn't resist commenting on your snake bite kit. I would recommend that you look into the snake bite suction setup you have. Those have been shown conclusively to cause more harm then help. A little web searching should pull up plenty of material. If you want a suction device go with the Sawyer extractor and never cut a bite site - it can actually accelerate envenomation.

be sure and tell your doctor next time you go, you don't want him using any kind of reference material. Since, if he didn't already know it, it couldn't help.
 
Nice kit, agree with having the book along, it makes for great reading if you have to wait on someone, find a nice place to sit and read a spell, or just because you want to refresh your memory and 'do it by the book'....no harm in having the book along, as long as it's not a tire chuck!
