Was what I did "blasphemy" LOL

Well here what I did..Also know I am not knocking Emersons chisel grind. Im sure it works well for what its intended for. Im sure he didnt design this knife for farm work :D I just liked the knife overall to well to get rid of it. Now its basically a drop point with a slight convex edge. Foolishly sharp too..Ill add there seems to be a very good heat treat on this 154 cm.

That's freakin awesome Kentucky! That's how they should come from the factory.

What are they thinking at Emerson Inc? Don't stone me for hating chisel grinds plz. :)

Did you lose much steel (top to bottom)?

Not piling on, just agreeing with those who share the belief that you bought it, it's your's. Personally, I wouldn't mod a really expensive knife (I wouldn't buy a really expensive knife if I didn't really like it), but I've done some mods, too.

I agree 100% If it was gifted or, in ignorance, when I started collecting I was wanting an Emerson really bad and found out they were chisels - now forget about them. If I ended up with one that way I'd do the mod.

I think I saw some on their site that were V grinds but it's been so long I may have imagined it??
