Washington Street!!

Nice to see this Thread up and running again, as it has some outstanding knives in it.
Perry kind Sir - GREAT knives - loved the photos and the script!
When I recieved my Washington Jack - it was mailed to me by Charlie...I kinda just sat back...I find myself doing this when a knife like this reaches me...

I sat back and unwrapped the tube and I read Charlies thoughts that he so pleasantly put to words on the back label about this Washington Jack being one of the most beautiful knives available - and I am not blowing smoke up anyone's alley here, but it was ever so true that I was looking at one of the more beautiful Traditional knives that one could buy - and if it means anything - for the cost? well that just underlines the fact.
The Bone, the finishing, Those Bolsters, and all the descriptions that come under "Walk and Talk"...man these are just amazing knives, so thanks Perry ( still haven't forgotten the postcards my friend).

Looks like we will see some of the new ones in about a month, if all goes reasonably well in Titusville!

These Washingtons are an amazing knife! I whole Heartily agree with what Charlie states on the Washington Jacks label - that you are looking at one of the most beautiful Traditional knives that you can buy - theres simply no doubt about this.

The Washington Works Jacks are some of the more elegant and refined pocket knives I've handled. The bolsters and end caps are so distinctive. Here are two Punch Jacks I photographed when the leaves changed:

Al, Robb, Duncan, great shots of what I consider one of the best looking traditionals ever made, they are a great size also.

Augie: Very nice, is that Ivory bone and 3rd Cut Stag?

AL: Is that the complete series? Well done!

Here are some more of my Jacks--I don't have a complete set, but I like everything about this series from the build quality to the long functional Pen blade to the sheer distinctiveness. I don't have a group pic yet.

Robb, I'm missing the elusive Autumn Gold Bone and Gabon Ebony clip points.

I just looked up the 2014 Production Totals and you're right, there were 5 versions of the Washington Jack produced in Clippoint. Totals for each version were about equal, so hopefully you can easily complete the set if that is your aim!

The 15 and 77 Barlows are beautiful but they don't have anything on these Washington Jacks. They look so good it's hard to put into words especially with that gorgeous clip blade.

I would love a single blade Washington with either a spear or wharncliffe blade. I have a 2 blade ebony, and while the knife is gorgeous, I find it to be a bit bulky for it to be consistently in my rotation.

These are beautiful knives, one of my favourite patterns. I am still missing the autumn clip and the smooth stag. Still hoping to complete the set, though these do not come up for sale very often.

It might be 2018 before I get a chance to make more!
Thanks for the bump; It is nice to see them again. You've got me looking in the Washington drawer and sighing. They are wonderful-looking knives, if I do say so myself! Thanks, Bill, for a great job!!

I am envious, Shing!! Hope you saw some interesting things!!

My one! Looking forward to more, especially in Autumn Gold Smooth Bone.
