Today I am making a big old pot of old fashion Portagee kale soup. My oldman always told me do not pick the kale till after a good hard frost. So if any of you Bubbas are in the area on Saturday stop over and have a bowl with a fresh Portagee bun. ;)Also on Saturday, I hope to be doing up a canister of HD primary chain, chainsaw chain, nickel with 1084/4600 and 1084 powders.:D
 
Wiring up the VFD and 2HP motor I just got to replace the old single speed... can't hardly wait!

How you doing way over there, IG? Haven't yapped at you in a while... wish I lived closer so I could swing by and get in trouble.

setting up things for my thanksgiving smelt, and making some fencing sword hilts. IG I still gotta get out and meet you at some point. Powdermetal is certainly a much better use for a can than soup!

Wanted to swing by IG's on Saturday, but I'll probably be working a 16 hour shift starting at 12 noon today. Linda and I will be going to the old Worchester Centrum Saturday afternoon to see the Trans Siberian Orchestra. Too bad, IG's supposed to have some company over that I wanted to talk to.:(

Have fun! BTW Larry thanks for the welding advice you gave me at Ashokan, my MIGwelds have improved immensely! of course now I'm forgewelding the handles onto my billets after initial weldup, but I have put your advice to good use on other stuff, and my welds are much better for it. Thanks!

Im going to a leather show and forging out a new (for me anyway) damascus pattern. I still dont have the nerve to bake the Indian chain but Im working myself up to it.

Bro, you will have to make my spring HI or come down for a weekend before it gets to cold. I don't know if I can forge all winter with my new smithy with tarps on three side, but I will find out really soon.:confused::D;)

You have a open invite. I have a PCA that takes care of Helen for Me Monday, Wednesday and every other Friday or Saturday. So if you have time during the course of the week come on down.;):D
 
Have to work tomorrow. 7-12 maybe longer :grumpy:
After that I want to squeeze in some shop time, and I need to get out to the range and put a couple more boxes through my new slug gun. Starting to get the feeling back in my shoulder and slugs are on sale this week so I guess its meant to be :D
