He also goes by tvjunky, and chief_war_head@mail.com.He posted Beltrame picklocks for sale on the KnifeForums board.I contacted him and we made a deal on 8/9/02.I paid him 10 minutes later through Paypal. For some reason he was unable to send them until 8/16,or so he said. The only thing I asked was that he use a tracking method so we both could follow the progress. He said he"forgot" to do so.I should have known then.Well they never showed up and the 30 day Paypal policy on disputes has lapsed since I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt.I am furious, and out $260.This little POS is in some hole laughing at me.Beware.....

If you are sure you've tried everything to get his cooperation then please also post his address, so when he trurns up with his name(s) changed, we have a better chance of recognizing him.

If you used a credit card through Paypal, I would dispute the charge through the credit card company and let Paypal and the POS battle it out.If it was through a bank account I would still ask Paypal's assistance and see what they say.One more reason I don't use Paypal anymore, too thief friendly.Good Luck

One more thing. You don't mention it in your post, but maybe it was an oversight.Did you ask him for a refund for the package loss? What was his response if any? Also tracking numbers are nice, but what happened to insuring a over 200.00 parcel?Just curious.

I just found out I was able to get a chargeback from my CC company. The guy was very evasive from the beginning,I had to ask twice just to get his name. The only way I found out his last name was through Paypal transaction records.Delivery confirmation?Insurance? He"forgot".I'm glad it's over and I appreciate the support.
