Watch Pocket Knives?

I just received a GEC stag Pemberton. Before buying, I had wished that it had been bigger, but it's minuscule dimensions have proven to be an asset. It fits perfectly in the watch pocket of my jeans. This is great because it's not taking up real estate in my other pockets—all while keeping it instantly accessible, and separated from other hard and scratchy things. The little Pemberton fits in the bottom of my watch pocket perfectly and horizontally along the bottom.
Now I am wondering— So what if it lays horizontally along the bottom? Fitting a knife in at an angle will allow for a slightly longer knife. I'll not part with the tiny Pemberton. I have a little more love to go around, though, so... What knife do you carry in the watch pocket of your jeans?

I'm a big guy, so my watch pockets all run pretty large. I usually carry a pocket clip modern in my watch pocket (in case I need one fast at work), a stockman or two-blade jack in my RFP, and an alox Cadet in my LFP with keys.

Peanuts, Mini Copperheads, 14's, 06's and SAK Classics all rotate into the watch/coin/fifth pocket for me. Lately the SAK Classic gets the most time because I find it infinitely useful but I love carrying all of my different smalls.

For a number of years now, the watch/coin pocket size knives have been my regular carry. A Boker 240 pen, Buck 309 companion, Victorinox classic and executive models. They do all I need from a pocket knife in urban or suburban environments and don't take up valuable real estate in the regular pockets.

A 2 3/4" stockman as made by schrade is my favorite watch pocket knife but there are many other makers of that size stockman. I've had case, rough rider and still have a henckels 2 3/4" stockman (which is very similar to the older schrades), all good options.

GEC 25, case baby butterbean, case swayback jack. Tom Britton teardrop jack fits there nicely also

I have a selection I carry that way

Buck 309, Camillus peanut, GEC #14, Case small texas toothpick all regualy take their turn

Right now I have this four bladed Boker Congress that rides in my watch pocket, oddly enough, I don't carry a watch in that pocket ;)

It measures 3 1/2" long and across the back springs and covers a little over 1/2" and from back springs to the highest spot on the spine of one of the sheepfoot blade is about 7/8"

I wear Wranglers or Levis exclusively. In the watch pocket you'll usually find my Buck 309, or my Buck 55 lock back. And/ or a Peanut. That's really all the knife I need on a daily basis. I do office work and fish so I don't need a whole lot of knife. If I carry something bigger, it's just because I want too.

Mine is a Morrow small trapper! I got this custom Morrow yrs.ago & was going to sell her.For some reason I never put her up for sale & recently started carrying her! At first I had to decide "why"I would edc a custom pocketknife!!Customs are for selling NOT edc....I mean...she could get scratched....or (GASP)lost!!Anyhoo....got over that....now edc & she is a perfect fit for my watch pocket.

Depends on the brand of jeans. Some have bigger watch pockets than others. I used to carry a Case Peanut in my watch pocket pretty much all of the time, but currently it's a Victorinox Alox Cadet.

CASE Swayback Gent gets in there very nicely. However, I do have reservations about WP carry, often I've found a knife can escape from there and couple of times I've nearly lost a decent knife......so I don't use the WP as much as formerly.

This little Boker has been watch pocket carried on occasion.

Not all watch pockets are created equally, unfortunately. If they aren't deep enough there's no knife in them for me, as they can creep out of a shallow pocket.
