If your strap tappers from 22mm to 20mm I would guess a 20mm clasp would work.

Yep just figured that our :)
Ugh hate returning missed the note they had
Thanks for the info

leghog is our resident Watch expert. You should see some of his other stuff!

(I voted regular buckle - for the reason leghog stated)

I think I'm out of step here. I use a $29 Timex and a stainless expansion strap from Speidel.

Don't like watch straps with buckles or those snap-shut thingies because my wrist size always falls between the strap holes or the adjustment steps in the clasp. Too tight or too loose — either is bad.

I only recall Speidel twistoflex bracelets on my Dad's Omega Seamaster. And that's from my earliest memory of his watch until long after I left home.

Shipped it back today, they are sending out the 20mm one today also. :) watch also arrived today !! pretty nice, don't want to change straps yet until I do get that clasp, as you made reference it will protect that leather surface a lot better using that, so I'll give that a go when it arrives, hopefully by Wednesday, in the mean time the strap that is on the watch is pretty comfy but not as nice looking as the new one ;)

Regular buckle on a rubber strap on a diver s watch. No signs of any wear after several years.

Here's a shot taken of it tonight, has the strap it arrived with, will wear that for now, I like the readability of it, it's not too large or too small, at least for me ;)

It's a Citizen BM8475-26E,

The case is 42mm diameter, Eco drive, will see how that plays out!

Speidel is out of business, but there double-barrel name that's taken over and theirs works just the same.

Really nice looking watch. I have a Nighthawk,no trouble with it at all. Just wish they had sapphire crystals. Thinking of selling it as it just can't seem to pry the TSAR off my wrist.

Thanks, wore it to work today, everyone was either being kind or they really liked it, of course still walking with the cane gains a little sympathy. ;)

And two things would have been nice, well three maybe Sapphire crystal, screw down crown, although that wasn't a problem today, and white hands/numbers/indicators, but all in all, I like it quite a bit.

One guy on amazon complained and only gave 2 stars because he didn't know it was going to be so small, said he thought it should be marked as a ladies watch !! 42mm isn't small and it's a lot of area there to read easily, not sure where he's from or just how big a guy he is! Maybe his watches come with a hole in the back so you can hang it on the wall when you're not wearing it. ;)

IMO one reason it looks so good is the orange on black. The smallest watch I wear is a 42mm.IIRC the Nighthawk is 48mm and that pushes it up to about the largest I will wear. The main things I look for in a watch is sapphire and screw down crown although I have never had a problem with a push in crown. Just makes me feel safer in water with screw down. Yobokies makes sapphire for the Nighthawk, not sure what others. I heard that Citizen is offering some of their models with sapphire.

I agree, the Orange on black is nice, just when it starts to get a little dark it doesn't show as much contrast against the black face as the white would, all in all, I'm glad I went for this, just over $120 or so, and my clasp should be arriving maybe tomorrow and I'll change out the strap for the new one.

I was wondering do they make a deployment clasp for a nylon watch band ? I have a silicone band with a deployment buckle but it gets a little hot wearing it in the summer so I would like to put the nylon band back on. Does such a thing exist ?

Well, I had the new strap on, it's black nicely padded with white stitching, love it, but, it must be something with the original strap that goes so well with the case and colour of the hands and numbers as I switched it back to the old strap and will store the new one away for when this strap gets worn down.

I do like the clasp so I voted for it ;) here are some shots of the watch with the clasp installed

Very nice and as mentioned it should certainly extend the life of the leather indefinitely!

I like the tan strap. You wouldn't think tan on black but the orange really pulls it together.

I know right? I kept looking at the black on black case with black face and orange and the black strap just didn't quite fit, very strange so when this one gets worn down, then I'll be ready to put that other one on again. Getting pretty good at changing these out now ;)
