Watch with 24 hour dial

Ok, iyt may not be at all what you're looking for, but I wear a watch every day by kenneth cole that has a smaller, secondary dial with one hand that's 24 hours. I like it, and it wasn't 400 bucks.

I like that idea, but I dunno about two separate dials.

Does anyone have experience with something like this:
Invicta GMT: http://www.aaawatch.com/9401.htm
(the red hand is 24 hour)

you read the minute hand like a normal watch on that fortis?

As far as I understand (and that may not be very far), a minute hand is a minute hand is a minute hand. Doesn't matter if it's 12 hour or 24 or where noon is. Zero minutes is always at the top (At least in the gobs of searches I've done.) The second hand is normal too.

Just the hour hands move differently, depending on the way the watch is designed (12 or 24 or 24 with noon-top).

Some have two hour hands (like the invicta GMT I linked to), one for 24 hour and one for 12 hour.

If anyone is interested in trying a mechanical watch, vostok makes some nice looking ones. Not as accurate as the high-end watches, but with most near 50.00, might be interesting. Some are manual wind and for a bit more, some appear to be auto.

I happened to find these during my search. Maybe they aren't any good?

On topic: They have several 24 hour models ;)

http://www.watchuseek.com has one such forum.
There are many useful info and discussions. I have seen "00 hour or 12 hour at the top" discussion there. Hope this forum interests you.

My current favorite is "ThinkTheEarch" watch with a hemisphere of the earth rotates once a day, and the digit under your location shows the local time. It has north version, and south version.
