Watched a review video of an Endura 4 lock failure with reverse pressure on the blade

Hi Grim,

Truth is an elusive mistress and ignorance abounds everywhere.

One thing to be aware of; if a knife lock fails in a test, subsequent tests will also fail unless a change is made. If someone tests a lock for failure over and over again without any adjustments, they probably don't understand locks. To expect different results without a change is not rational.

Just like Albert Einstein said "Insanity:doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."

There can be some dirt in the lock, I had same problem until I cleaned it, and knife shouldnt unlock like that....not abuse at all!

Thanks for chiming in Sal,I agree.I've been buying your products since your company started, and will continue to do so.:)

I flinched when the guy grabs the blade with his hands and starts whacking the scales on his knee (about the :45 sec mark). If that was one of my knives, we'd have been on the way to the emergency room. That Piker must not keep his blades very sharp...

:eek:I can't believe he did that, I actually gasped and thought it would just destroy his palm. That's one of the many benefits of keeping your blade "butter knife dull";)
