watches

Better still just get a dive computer and be done with it.

Even for a new OW diver, isn't that kind of . . . cheap? What about one of these?

Thanks guys.:) I still can't set the time; I've never had a watch without the stem sticking out the side. I'm going to take it over to the local jeweler & see what it will cost to spruce the watch up a bit. Hopefully he can show me how that sliding button works:D

You've found a great timepiece, pretty easy to set once you get the knack of it.

Let me know if you ever have a hankering to part with it.

Wear it in good health.

I took it to the jeweler in town & he let me know that the watch was not a 'knockoff' or fake which was a relief. He told me to take it to an authorized LeCoultre watch repair store to be checked out. I will be doing that today or tomorrow.
I'll keep you in mind should I want to part with this watch but for now it is a great remembrance of my father.

Just got my G-shock in the mail today!

How big is that? I have a teeny wrist and what ive seen gshock are un godly big. Is that true?

I too have small wrists and I don't think this is too big for my wrist. It is at the large end of what I'd wear though. I think I have a 7" wrist and the watch takes up the majority of it.

Dang dude can you even move your wrist at all lol i have 6in wrist btw haha:)

I've seen some that look like they are for dudes or young boys judging by the color scheme but I may have been mistaken I might be thinking of the gshock mini series

also keep in mind that not all gshock are big, while they may not be very slim the faces arent to big. I've there the gshock rangeman isn't too big but the price is high ( about $400 )

if you want to check out http://watchismo.com they have a wide variety of brands ranging from high end to cheapo so you might find something you like

Go to Poor Man's Watch Corner and start looking at watches. They have good photography, they always give watch dimensions, and most of the watches are modeled by Helen on her 5¼" (13.5 cm) wrist. Get the size range you can live with and go shopping.
