I have had excellent results with my Casio Pathfinder Hunting Watch, it gives me sunrise and sunset times, moon phase, major feeding times, stop watch - I payed $40 for it about six years ago. I am a forestry firefighter and have gone through about half a dozen watches in my 30 year career due to the nature of my work. I have a fancy gold watch that the wife gave me for dress up occasions when I'm off duty.
 
Here's another vote for Luminox. I love my model 3001. The tritium markers are a real help since I work a lot at night. Check out www.watchreport.com. They have helpful reviews on everything from Timex to Rolex.
