This piece is quite unique and feels really great in the hand. The blade is W-2 steel forged from 2" square stock. Over all length - 13 1/4" with a 8" blade. Blade width from spine to cutting edge is 1 9/16" and blade thick at the ricasso is a little over 3/16". The oval guard is Nickel/silver and the handle is professionally stabilized and dyed Water Buck leg bone. Blade was clay coated to produce this cool hamon. This bowie comes with a hand sewn leather sheath, which I haven't made yet, but if anyones interested in this bowie let me know and I'll get you a picture of the sheath as soon as it's finished.

Thanks for looking

Bill

Very nice. I really like the handle.

Does it have a price tag?

Also, will you be putting out any more EDC's anytime soon? I am thinking about getting one for my Dad for Christmas.

Nice Bowie.

Sorry Frosty, I had a phone call right in the middle of posting this and I got side tracked. Price $525+shipping

I will be making a couple more EDC's probably in the next couple weeks.

Thanks,

Bill

Stunning knife Bill. I really like the name as well..."Water Buck Bowie"...sounds like a knife name ought to. :)

WOW! That stabilized bone is absolutely beautiful! Is that a "secret process" or is it something that can be shared???

The hamon is striking enough to draw attention back to the blade and offset the unique handle. GREAT WORK!

Thanks guys.

WOW! That stabilized bone is absolutely beautiful! Is that a "secret process" or is it something that can be shared???

I have no idea, the bone was in a box of handle material I traded a bowie for last spring, All I know is that its been professionally stabilized by who or where I don't know. I do have another one though and its gray.

Thanks,

Bill

Just finished up the sheath for this bowie if anyones interested.

Thank you

Bill

Wow, that is a beauty. Unfortunately, I just spent all of my money on moving and some used furniture (I'd rather have had that bowie... but I "suppose" I'm better off :D).

Great work Bill!

I love bowies. I think I just need to wait until my daughter is finished university before I start collecting them. By the way, she'll be ten next week. And when I write "ten" I mean ten months.;)
