Sure and thanks for looking! :) Hope to have more time and put in more inline and bottle filters in here. If you ever come across any I don't mention, feel free to let me know and I will research and add to the list.

Tixx

Do you have any data on the MIOX and Steripen?

KInd regards

The MIOX seems interesting. I have to read more about it. I was trying to avoid anything that needed batteries to create clean water.

Added Seychelle Water Straw Advanced

Made it easier to read

I've had good luck with the MSR Mini Works.

Easy maintenance and screws right on a Nalgene ........ bit bulky though.

Thank you tixx. Lets keep this going. How about the Aquamiras? I like these straw filters. Emergency Zone makes one to.

Added Aquamira straw. Seems all their filters use the same technology - straw, bottle and pro.

Just found a SureAqua straw I have never seen before. Thus far the only other one I do not have in the list is the Sawyer Point ZeroTWO (in line filter).

Updated with Rapid Pure Straw. They have other products such as bottles and inline/gravity purifiers as well. Seems interesting and will be giving them a try as soon as they come in the mail.

Hi

Where is a good place to learn about the risks of impure water
What are in plain English and were do they come from
Bacteria
Protozoan
Viruses
and more?

thanks

Every region in the world has it's own specific water-borne pathogens, so individual national organizations might have best specific info. For instance here we have the CDC. But there is the international organization WHO.
