Bohler N680 steel, cryo treated and tempered to 57-58RC

0.132" thick
3.25" blade
6.75" OAL
3.2 oz

No other steel here besides the blade, pins are titanium and brass tube. G10 handle, yellow/black.

N680 is known for excellent corrosion resistance, this EDC would be a good companion to fisherman or anyone who deals with water often. I made a bait knife for myself to keep in the boat and so far happy with how it withstands salt and dirt.

[SOLD to drnls] $135 shipped by USPS Priority Mail, PayPal to alex_dron@yahoo.com

Don't promise M4 but I might make similar in S30V, have a lot of that steel on hands. Not any soon though. A month at least.

Damn missed it. This is one I'd love to put through the ringer here in the Keys and see how it does in the salt. Make some more!

I almost feel bad for taking this guys; almost. Already received shipping info, that's fast service.

Nice work and very nice package, my compliments.
Congrats to the buyer, you're lucky I didn't see this one first!

I think there's a niche for a small, practically-shaped fixed blade that is almost corrosion proof.

If the tang under the handle-scales is skeletonized for lower weight and better balance, I'd buy one of these.

I started to make knives because I was looking for a reasonably priced perfect EDC with a custom feel. And I'm still trying to make one :)
Btw all my latest knives have skeletonized tang (this one as well). I believe it is required for almost any knife to keep the right balance and rarely mention in description.

Make a small run of these or something similar (a slightly wider blade would also be cool in my book) in a variety of handle colors and I'm sure they would sell.

Knife just arrived, very nice. Feels really good in my hand. I think Brummie is right - make a run and they would sell.
