Very interesting products. So, you've never had an issue with them freezing? Do you leave any space for expansion?
Thanks.
Sufler they are bombproof! No freezing issues as long as you leave ample room for expansion. They're designed to be mishandled by 19 year olds who are full of themselves in harms way. I have some similar used British cans that look like they went thru a meat tenderizer and only one sprung a seeping leak on a corner. Some super glue fixed that. We use those beater cans to cache water for scouts when they're doing their long map/compass journeys. They must find caches of water, food, and better gear on their trek. They must devise team ways to carry it out with them. These cans are abused!!!
$21 bucks for a effective multi use water container seems like a bargin. When you need more water you just find a stream, refill, and drop your filter into the large opening.
