Forgive me if this has been asked before. Does anybody know of a reliable waterjet cutting service, preferably in the Souther Cal area. Thanks

As the count already more/less linked to....

He's not in SoCal, but I use Mark Vanderwest with Leading Edge Fabricating in Michigan. I've always been impressed with the end product, and even more so, the fast turnaround.
I have a number of shops closer to me, and even some local fab shops in the same city, and I doubt they could touch Mark's lead time, including the extra couple of days for shipping.

Give him a call. He's a great guy to talk to as well.

I had some knives cut by these guys just a week ago and I'm VERY pleased with the results...they were very easy to deal with and about a week turnaround time from the time I got the steel to them-I think they are worth checking out( I have not used H20Knife) http://www.waterjettech.com/

Love talking to Waterjet Tech. No setup fee, hourly rate, great quality. Very knowledgeable.

Here's their number:

Hey, thanks to everyone for the help. Sticking point is having to convert EPS files to CAD. At least now I know what I need to do.

With water jet tech all I had to do was make a pattern and scan it and send them the PDF(saved in Word) and tell them the overall length and holes size...granted I wanted my knives water jet blanked to save time and material for me, I wasn't using any CNC scales or anything.
