Waterproof Jacket

The one I was issued in 2005 or so was made out of Cotton/Nylon, with no hard shell type of lining at all. I'm sure it had a DWR coating on it (which wears off, eventually), and even brand new, it would be soaked through within minutes of heavy rain.
