I have a Endura wave that has a two position clip for right or left tip up carry and the clip is polished. Is this the first version of the Endura wave? I don't see them anywhere on the net. Any info would help. Thanks

I am not 100% sure but i think that would be a safe bet.

If the clip is held in place by a barrel bolt instead of three screws, it is a third generation Endura, which would make it one of the earlier Sprint Run Waved Enduras.

It has a barrel bolt type clip. Was it the first Emerson wave that spyderco made? Does anyone have any numders on the sprint run.

Yep, what you have is a C10PYGW, 500 pieces in 2005 and it's was a special run and not a SprintRun.
Congrats and have fun with your Spydie :)

I hesitate to question Peter as he is very precise on his data, but I thought it was a run of 400...

But then again maybe I'm thinking of the sprint of cf militaries...:o

Zen, Don't hesitate to question me; I always try my best but I'm human and make mistakes, though not in this case - I still think run was 500 pieces.

One more information: 26 pieces from the 500 waved Enduras are a special after-marked edition, blade is marked/numbered and clips /barrel srews are golden and individally engraved with spiderweb. Those are the German Messerforum knives.
