Waved frame lock?

I've been looking of a large waved knife and I cant seem to find one that I like.

I want somewhere around a 4" blade. I looked at the CS Spartan and it's just a little to bulky and I don't like the clip placement nor the blade shape much.I also don't like CS espada.

So, I came to the realization that what I wanted was a waved frame lock knife. Something similar to a SR-1 or ZT 0300/0560.

Are there any options out there? I want to keep it under the $250 mark but I can spend more if need be.

Basically I want the tank knife I already have in a couple of my ZTs but with a wave feature.

Yeah the problem is I don't think the angle on any of them is right except for my 0551 and even then I think the blade is a bit small for what I want.

I have waved a couple of knives myself with a dremel and you have to have a fairly good angle or a spydie hole.

Maybe another knife that I could buy and customize myself or send off?

Ti military

There's the new fluted versions, other wise the standard ti. Both of which have the 4" blade and the spydie hole which should lend itself to wave modding quite well.

I'm fairly sure either can be had for less than $250 if you look

Yeah it seems like a Ti mil. is the best option. I was hoping for something a bit thicker in the blade actually IMO the perfect design for me would be like the HEST Folder but but with a 4" blade.

As for the modded 0200 anyone know how well it would work with such a small nub?

my 0200 waves just fine with no wave mod if i pull it out right. i can only assume that a wave mod makes it better.

You could always buy an Emerson and send it to somebody like Reese Weiland or Ferrrk. Or I could wave your framelock.

Charlie Mike do you have some pics of a waved ZT 0300 or other models you've done?

Do you have to remove the speed assist?

I delete all pics of sold knives so sorry. I'd prefer to remove the speedsafe but I guess it could wave assisted...
