Nice work Matt, love your videos .That's all for now, but I regrind most of my knives too, mostly Spydercos .When are you going to do some knives with full or high hollow grind, would be perfect for the style of knives youre making, love convex blades but in my opinion high or full hollow would slice the best soft materials.

I'll do that when I get a grinder that is capable of those grinds. A 2x72 Pheer is in my near future.

That looks great! As stated before, a huge improvement. I am not a fan of those in factory form, but with that mod it's a different story

I like it far better than stock! Something about the factory looks of that knife seems a little goofy to me, but your modification really fixed that!
Unfortunately, based on how I carry knives, (clipped to my right butt cheek) I don't think a wave would work for me. Is it possible to wave from the back pocket?

It is very possible to wave from the back pocket. I'm carrying this in my left rear pocket. Draws into edge out ice pick.

If you don't mind, would you be willing to make a video demonstrating how to wave out of your back pocket at some point? A quick YouTube search resulted in a whole lot of nothing, unfortunately. Seems like us back pocket knife carriers are a rare breed.

I would love to but it's hard to do while holding my phone (the camera).

Oh, that's right, all your YouTube videos are filled with you holding it! You may want to invest in a little phone tripod, haha.

That's so freaking awesome man! I as well am not a wave fan but this may bring me around. Well done!!

Back pocket waving is quite easy actually. CM demonstrates left front pocket waving is his video. I've never done LFP personally, but I've carried back left numerous times and I would imagine it being easier than LFP because in the back, the knife is sitting right at the seam.

If you carry right back pocket and want to wave a knife, you'll need a knife that is set up for left hand carry.

Matt, keep up the good work, but please tell me, do you like full, and really high hollow grinds on self defense blades?, most people on forums don't like those, and I am curious whats your opinion about it?I love full and high hollow ground blades, maybe theres something wrong with my perception of knife geometries.

I like a high hollow but prefer a thicker (3/16"+) blade on 4"+ stuff.

Every time it have seen this blade, I thought it looked odd.....like the blade didn't match the handle or something. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have one, but it's just not a balanced looking knife. You, sir, have remedied this issue with your mod. Now it looks and flows like a knife should. VERY well done!

Thanks for the compliments!

I must say that you actually made the knife BETTER.

And I hate striders. Imho fugly.

But this. Sweet
