Hopefully to add Spyderco ParaMilitary FG and Spyderco Sage CF to my collection within a weeks time.

I was highly impressed with the Sage CF. I've been EDCing it for about a month, what an awesome knife, I'm sure you'll love it.

how do you like the Captain? I've been meaning to get one

Very nice. How do you like the Captain?

When I got the Captain, I planned on using it - but I do that with almost every knife I buy - and then once I get em and admire them - most don't even get used, as such is the Captain. So far other then shining it up, taking pics of it and admiring it, I have not used it. It was sharp out of the box, but most Spydies are like that anyways. And it is kinda tough to close one-handed - really tough lock in there that usually requires 2 hands to close...otherwise you might grind the heck out of your thumb. Heavy knife, but I like that - great feeling G-10. I always admired the blade when I first saw it and thought to myself if the right deal came along I would buy one, and I did.

dang... I saw a green salsa at a gun show for like 6 bucks on some guys table. guess I shoulda bought it.

It was the Dallas Market Hall Gun Show in January. Its the only show I go to. Its fantastic.

Funny - your the second one who told me that - but I also hear it a toughie to get as well - and if you do, its expensive!

Some places are still selling them. They don't move fast because of the price, and most people don't know why they should pay $70-$90 more for a knife that looks very similar. Expect to shell out about $200 for one. Totally worth it though.

Second? I thought I was the first! :D

I hav a Spyderco Military S90V and it's an awesome practical blade that holds an edge really well. I've never needed to sharpen yet but I have been using it lightly,

Steel is worth it imo.

I love my Sage CF, quite surprised by a Taiwan made folder. I love the feel of it's carbon fiber and a great EDC! Also the mini Manix is a TANK!! very beefy folder....ENJOY
