way to upgrade to gold from basic?

Is there a way i can upgrade to gold without shelling out $30? I have been a basic member for 4 days.I was hoping for a $20 upgrade function but didn't see one.. can you bill me for the extra $20 and i can pay it to upgrade?

or worst case refund my $10 basic and ill just do a gold membership?
one other thought IF my $10 basic cannot be refunded can you give me a name change (i was going to change it) that way im not out the $10

I believe you're going to have to buy a gold membership, if you want one. I don't think you can trade in a basic.

As Mossy said, you can't trade it in, yet if you buy Gold to upgrade Spark (the site owner/admin & the only one that can handle transactional duties) will prorate it on to the end. So in essence, you'll get 16 months of Gold instead of 12.
