And I'm sorry to admit this was not that long ago...

I was buying my boyfriend a Buck 110, and this was my $8 add-on item to get free shipping. Little did I know how damn cool that 110 would turn out to be, and the rest is history. ^_^

Here's to the little choices that turned out to be big choices! :]

PS: This little guy isn't so bad, actually. For $8 it's a solid spring-assist, it's really heavy, too, which I always actually enjoy for some reason. So no offense, rainbow titanium-coated dragon knife. ^_~

OMG... This should be sent to Nick Shabazz... This knife would bring him sooo much JOY!

If you think the Buck 110 is cool, consider the 112 Ranger. Same type of knife, just a little shorter. I like it better, myself.

If the dragon is your first knife, don't part with it. EVER! There is always something special about your first knife.

I used to have one of those rainbow leeks, til I dropped it on a tile floor and broke a big section of tip. It was a slippery bugger.

My first knife was an entire display case of Frost Cutlery knives that came from my grandfathers store that went belly up. I've been hooked ever since.

All Started with this guy... Gerber EZ-Out... about 15 years ago..

Me too-over 20 years ago! I had a co-worker who was a knifeaholic and when I asked him what he would recommend as a good folder for relatively little money, that EZ Out was his choice. I liked it so much I later also bought the newer version with the skeletonized blade. I still use both!

For me it was the SOG bowie that my dad brought back from Vietnam about '67-68. No, he wasn't Special Forces, he was load-master on a C-130. There's a story there, but this isn't the place for it. Regardless, I DUG that knife!! My older brother tried using it as a screwdriver about 1972, and broke about 3/8" of the point off. It COULD have been reground, but Dad just threw it away. It would never become mine. THAT was the one that did it for me. And while I've handled original SOG knives since, the SOG Specialties S1 reproduction is a better knife than any I have seen. Which is why I have one of those instead of an original that I'd be afraid to use because I know now that brittleness was common to the model. I know now that more than one company made them, and that they were considered disposable by the higher-ups in command. I've learned a few other things along the way, practicality being one of them. Doesn't mean I WON'T buy a knife I don't plan to use, but it doesn't happen often.

sparklygalaxy sparklygalaxy , I think the dragon folder was a subliminal thing. I see a Benchmade Bedlam folder in your future!. Tell us what you think.... Except for the part about not being available in rainbow anodized or PVD coloring, I mean....
