That looks really good. I still want a graphic one but fear the color will wear off with use.

If it's anything like the two unique graphics that I own, the color is inside an engraved area and therefore not subject to contact wear.

Nice title of your post by the way! Interesting graphic on your knife:thumbup:

Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought they could redo the colouring of their UG and CGG for a fee? Use then get it redone if you want.

If they recolor then that is awesome! Why I avoided graphic but now I can look :)

Thomason, will it be a safe queen or user?

The clip has been removed and it is in the EDC rotation to be carried in little custom leather pocket slip sheath I have.

In FAQ section of the CRK website there is a little info on the graphics in case you haven't seen it. Two in particular are worth reading on the subject.

How is the coloring of the decorated areas achieved?
How can I keep the colors on a decorated Sebenza looking brilliant?

If the color seems to wear down with use or contact (skins oils, etc.,) it can be restored or refreshed to like new by cleaning with windex, or any blue ammonia type cleaner. No need to have the handles re-annodized. At least, this is what I recall from experience of a few years back. If I'm mistaken (no doubt) someone can correct me.

Yes and No.
Try using windex and a cloth on the worn blue thumbstud. You will get a clean but still worn thumbstud. The anodization is only a very thin layer of color..
However, it does get clean the graphics that get "grimy" but not worn ( recessed areas that are anodized).
Also, the high polish areas are gtg with windex.
I clean my safe queens that get grubby looking from just finger fondling.
:)
