We have just become a distributor for Evenheat ovens and kilns. I've listed all of the knife maker ovens and will list the rest of the line in the next couple of weeks.

They've made a couple of improvements lately. The wood handle and brass locking latch has been replaced with better design. No more hitting the latch open with tongs!

They also have come out a 120v version that seems to be doing well. I'm not sure how many guys I've seen over the years that wanted to heat treat but couldn't get the 230V wiring. No you don't need it.

Thanks to all of you that have done business with us. We appreciate it.

Tracy,
I have and love my Evenheat. If you have the opportunity, ask them if they have a refit kit for the new lock. That's the only thing about it that I don't like.

Congrats Tracy, on the addition of EvenHeat Kilns to your already extensive line of knifemaking supplies.

I purchased the KF 22.5 and have had 3 years of trouble free service. Not a single problem and I've done hundreds of knives.

I understand replacement elements are readily available and very reasonable ( less than $50 ? ). Like I mentioned, I have not had a single problem to date but would like to keep an extra element on hand, "just in case". Are you planning on eventually carrying those also ?

Great looking racks you have available for the kilns too ! Best I've seen. I'm going to be ordering one of those from you right quick

Hello David,
thank you.
Evenheat sent me a sample of their MK1 shelf rack. It is made from kiln shelf material and looks to be very well done. I've ordered a half dozen each to keep in stock myself.
I can get any of the replacement parts but I think your question is a great one on stocking replacement parts. I'll start stocking at least replacement elements. That only makes sense. I'd like to have a spare for my own oven now that you mention it.

Congrats, 12 years still the same elements (I have another set) no complaints, though I have overhauled the wood handle knob a couple of times , GREAT OVENS!

Tracy, what is the longest oven evenheat offers? Something in the way of a 40 inch long chamber, but not very big in volume.
