Hey everyone,
The Round #123 box has arrived safely! First, a big thank you to the community and the organizer for keeping this great tradition going. After opening the box and chatting with a few members,
we felt this milestone round was the perfect opportunity to give the GAW a quick tune-up. To better align with the core spirit of this specific sub-forum, I’ve streamlined the contents to focus exclusively on quality traditional pocket knives.
By curating the selection down to classic slip-joints and traditional patterns, I was also able to downsize the physical packaging. This should make shipping significantly lighter, easier, and more affordable for everyone on the list going forward!
i might as well start off with the 3 knives that i took. i will post a bunch of pics. pic 1 is what i am keeping. pic 2-7 are 4 knives that i am adding to the box. this is what i think is correct info. #1 Remington 2023 silver bullet edition with sterling shield made by GEC.
#2 Case 05336 Texas Toothpick. chestnut bone from 2012. std oval shield. #3 Case 22788 Kentucky Blue Grass jig bone Case XX swell center jack with 8 dots. #4 Case XX 6347HP ssp stockman prod 1988
the next 3 pics are the curated collection. all of the knives in all the pics will be included in the GAW round #124
for those wishing to take part, please go ahead and post IM IN to get entered in. The contest will run from now until July 24, 2026. that is next Friday night till11:59pm Colorado time.
That will give plenty of time for all who wish to join the GAW. you have to be a gold member or higher to participate.

- Eligibility: You must be a paying member of "the Porch" (the Traditional Folders and Fixed Blades community on BladeForums).
- Entering: Post "I'm in" in the active giveaway thread to be considered for the rotation.
- Selecting: If your name is drawn, you can take a knife (or knives) from the ongoing pass-around box.
- Replacing: You are required to replace whatever you take with knives of at least equal value.
