everybody go ask crimsontideshooter to show his in a video....... he buys 3 or 4 of each knife hahahah. he did post a video last october and i was blown away then can only imagine now with how many knives came out this year

it appear's you prefer a combo edge or fully serrated edge . what is it you like about them? i have a combo edge griptilian in my edc rotation and im torn on it. i find my self using those serrations a bit but i also find them getting in the way as often when i dont need or want them for that particular cut and i cant sharpen em for crap and they get in the way when i do sharpen my plain edge. what do you like the combo edge so much? i cant decide if i want more of my edc knives with serrations or without

my reasons for a combo blade and fully serrated are different.

the fully serrated knives are carried strictly for self defense. they don't see any kind of *use* when carried and i'll typically carry one paired with a *regular* blade.

as for my combo edge knives; i find the serrations are better suited for string, cord, zip ties and other similar things. for what ever reason i seem to find a fair amount of this stuff to cut and the serrations make short work of it. now that i think of it... i find a lot of 550 cord that needs to be cut.

i'm of the opinion that a blade with a decent belly and a few serrations is a great all around tool. well, for me anyway.
