  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

We have lost another

Really sad. We shared so many Private & Formal Posts & Messages for over 20 years..He loved Aussie camping gear, which I sent him...Codge, A Great Mate. Hoo Roo.

I'm sorry to hear this. My condolences to his family & close friends.

Codger_64, a giant asset to the Schrade USA world. I learned a lot from him throughout the years. You will be missed, my friend. RIP

This is very sad, I remember quite some time ago when Michaels greater part of his collection was stolen, I didn't Know Michael then, and didn't get to know him as much as I would have liked, we emailed more than a few times, I was so pleased to find a new in the box sharpfinger and got to send it to him to try and lift his spirits. What Michael did for others with his sharing of his knowledge was huge.

He was such a wealth of knowledge, we talked about the Sears project and he said he was glad someone was taking it on, Neal Punchard sent Michael a copy of the Knife magazine that the Sears article was in, Michael came back to me saying he was really pleased with it- and that coming from Ol' Codger was just so satisfying, of all the people, just fantastic.
Well done Jason as Michael said that he was moving in with you as he became a little less mobile- that's a great son, I am sure your Dad was extremely proud.
R.I.P Codger, thank you for sharing and helping many of us find the answers to our questions.

Mike's brother apparently has access to his account. He wrote an obituary thread. Comments in it from us would be appropriate:
