Good WE knife repair

I notified WE of a problem with a Civivi. Within 1 hr. I had a response. As it turned out, I asked to send it in for there expert evaluation.
Their US repair is in MO.
I explained, it is a used knife, and didn’t expect warranty work. It didn’t matter, they fixed the problem, and returned it postpaid.
I was kept up on every communication between the factory and repair depot via CC Email.
This is not a sell it and forget it venture.
It was a lesson in the philosophy of WE.

⬆️ Yes, “WE“ is a brand unto itself.
I‘m no C.S. expert, but have read, they can be stand-offish.
Depending what it is, maybe one of the forum makers could help with TLC?
 
I asked them for replacement clips and screws before, and always got them...sometimes I paid 2$ for shipping, sometimes they forget to charge me. I noticed they do come from China, so it takes a little to get here, but it always came.

FYI, another WE Knife customer service example: I managed to strip a pivot & pivot screw on a Fornix. Contacted WE customer service, explained it was entirely my fault and was advised to PP $5 and they would send out the necessary replacement parts. A couple of weeks passed (I’d kinda given up hope) and a package appeared in my mailbox with two pivots and several screws.
I’ve had a couple of issues over the years with one or two manufacturers basically telling me to “pound sand” when requesting a hardware part. In my particular case, WE‘s customer service performance was great.
