I agree, I was just throwing out Spyderco as an example of a slicy knife.

The problem WE has are with blade style. I don't think they offer any hollow grinds. They put out a lot of flat grinds that terminate 2/3's of the way up the blade. With 4mm blade stock it's almost impossible to get a grind like that to be thin behind the edge.

I keep hoping to see a full flat grind but WE likes 2-tone blades with fullers and speed holes.

After giving it further thought I think the Sliciest WE isn't branded by WE at all. Check out the Ferrum Forge/Massdrop/WE Gent. It'll give you a chance to check out WE manufacturing at a great price in a knife that does knifey things quite well.

I really like their designs but I can't spend $300 on their knives. Way too steep for me. You can damn near by a sebenza at that point.

Ti frame lock with overtravel limiter built in on the steel insert of the lock bar, flipper riding on ceramic bearings, textured carbon fiber inlays on both sides, custom Ti clip, premium M390 steel, for me, that adds up to a pretty awesome folder, plus good looks with that two tone finish on the blade

Even in Australia we have a system called a "lay-buy" where you can pay it off.

Yea i'm sure we have something like that here too. It's not like i don't have the money, it's just not smart for me to spend that much on a knife.

That is all.

They actually have a Dew Hara design that they're going to make, it'll be the production Kabuto, with a button lock. Some of the dimensions seem a little odd, but the photos show a very hand-torpedo shaped knife with a blade profile very similar to the Barrage, and apparently they did a solid job on the button lock mechanism to avoid a sloppy feel.
