We recently did a run of accurate C plates for the KGM that address tracking issues caused by less-than-straight C plates that come on some people's grinders. While we were at it I went ahead and made a few extra long C plates that fit a 10" platen. Most folks will have no use for this, but we recently ran into some issues with the standard 8" platen while working on some larger knives, specifically finishing the flats and also sharpening from a parallelogram. So, if you if have issues running out of platen and you want to mount a 10" TW90 size platen onto your KMG, this C plate is compatible with the TW90 10" with 8" center to center mounting holes standard. I made these for our shop here and ran a few extra in case anybody here wants one. Please pardon the spam, I told folks I'd announce this here. The sale is over in the For Sale Knifemaking Supplies & Tools sub forum.
