If you want a room that will stick around, you need to make it an IRC room. Then when anyone comes online the room creates automaticaly. There is a Bladeforums.com IRC room, we could do ours the same way.

AIM is AOL Instant Messenger. It has chat room thingies folks can join.

IRC is Internet Relay Chat, and is one of the oldest mediums for chatting on the internet.

For those who are interested, I just registered on AOL as "TBC Zal" and am currently hanging out in an empty chatroom called "Busse"

I'll leave my computer up, but I won't neccessarily be here all the time. This is just a temporary solution--maybe we'll get something more permanent later.

Don't feel bad BJB. I don't understand all the internet acronyms for all this nonsense either. I'm not totally computer illiterate but the young'uns (Zal) definitely have a leg up.
