Not a gentleman's folder section, but a gentleman's knife section with 3" blades and under, slim and elegant. No black blades, tanto's, tactical, etc., need apply.

A champagne room for knives???
No. A cigar room.
This is quite true. When I think "gentleman's knife" I think of a small, elegant folder, perhaps embelished with expensive handle material like mother-of-pearl or semi-precious stones that I might slip into my suit pants when getting dressed up. On the other hand, I have seen some people use the term "gentleman's knife" for anything that is not a sharpened crowbar. The thing is when you get into classifications largely based on style preferences allot comes down to subjectivity. I would call a William Henry or a Mnadi a gentleman's knife but at the same time I would also throw a Spyderco Cricket into the mix as well while others would disagree.
I can. But that's just me.I can't see setting up a sub-forum for something with a fluid operational definition.
Hmmmm, sounds like code for "snobby elitist section" to my ears. Not a gentleman's folder section, but a gentleman's knife section with 3" blades and under, slim and elegant. No black blades, tanto's, tactical, etc., need apply.
