Hey friends...

Karen and I just received notification that Woodsmaster Volume 7 "Jungle living skills" just won 1st place, and a silver statuette, in the 22nd annual Telly Awards. Not only that but Volume 9 "Primitive Knifemaking" was a finalist in the competition earning us a 3rd place finish and a Bronze statuette!

We only entered these two videos and in a competition numbering almost 15,000 entrants we came out on top in our categories!

We are thrilled by this development as other competitors included such names as Dick Clark Productions, Touchstone pictures, Dream works, Miramax, Warner Bros, Discovery channel, the Learning Channel and HBO and many others.

Our categores included best non-broadcast documentary and best how-to...

Man are we Jazzed!

Ron & Karen, good job amigos!

The Jungle Living Skills video was an excellent piece of work. Especially after making that long trip up the Maranon with a Peruvian flu bug. I don't know if I ever told you but early one morning way up the Maranon while we were both down there, ya'll passed us on the river. We were in a pecky-pecky about to turn off a small tributary and I saw you and your crew go by within 100 meters of us. Gringos are easy to spot that far away from civilization

I believe this might have been the second trip yall came down to go up to the village to finish out the video, because we were headed into the Urarinas at the time.

Anyway, If there's going to be any beer buying then lets make it at Ari's Burgers

Take care.
