Weapon cabinet?

Today one of my customers asked me if I can help him to design a cabinet for his rifles, knives and swords. He will order one from a local carpenter. I'm not a rifle guy so I dont have any clues on this subject. I told him from bladeforums maybe some have a weapon storage cabinets in their homes and kindly show me some photos. I've googled "weapon cabinet" or "rifle cabinet" terms but no results have both knife and rifle displays. Can anyone help me about it???

i dont own a cabinet but i think you could try to have the rifles inside like a normal gun cabinet and the door would have some kinda shelves or places to put knives... just a thought
 
My dad's working on one, but he's not finished yet. He's making a whole room into a safe- with racks on the walls for his guns and knives, and a reloading bench etc. Concrete walls, with a bank vault type door. I'm super jealous.
 
Cabinet ? Do you mean for display or security ? This is the original 'armoire' which today is usually built for holding a TV set and other audio/visual entertainment items .Some who own them would be shocked to know the original meaning !!
Ask how many knives, swords and guns have to be included.Does the owner have a specific place for it ? how is the room decorated, style , material, color ?
 
Mete, good points and questions... I don't know exactly how many rifles and swords he does have, all I need a concept of these kinds of 'armoire's. He intends to have a "cabinet" both for safe storage and display. His has 2 daughters to be afraid of I guess but he likes to show off the pieces he has. I suppose he intends to put it in the living room so that every guest of his will be able to see weapons he has.
