weather check...

Warm, almost 40F and sunny with a light breeze. Melting some of the snow we got last week and making a bit of a mess of things.

small spec on the map is all ,if you ain't looking we are nowhere to be found.....population 3000 maybe but growing like a weed...

I'm in Santa Clara county, just down the hill from where Mtnfolk Mike lives. We're just plain old wet right now.

I lived in the Santa Cruz mountains for over a year once. Looking at the pictures in the OP, I'm reminded of how much I miss it, although I don't miss the commute down the hill.

It dipped into the low forties last night!! I almost had to turn the heater on in my house:grumpy:. The pool heater has been on for the past month (gotta keep the pool above 80 degrees F.)

Thank goodness it warmed up to the high sixties/ low seventies this afternoon, otherwise I would have to find my jacket;)

We had a light freeze here the past two nights with cold mornings afterward. Days were none too warm, either! Currently it's 55*, wind calm, and mostly cloudy. Tonight's low should be just above freezing, then it will warm up some for the rest of the week. Should be 45-50* at night and 65-70* for daytime highs. Thundershowers expected on Thursday. Friday and Saturday should be partly cloudy and in the mid-70s, and then some more rain on Sunday. That's it in a nutshell. Speaking of which, our oak trees have been dropping leaves and acorns like crazy for the past couple of weeks or longer.

This thread inspired me to go out for a short walk this morning, but I didn't have time to post a pic before I had to run off to work. . .

We're supposed to get rain by the end of the week. I wish it would just get cold and stay cold around here!
