Fellow Buckeroos!
The little brown truck of joy delivered the Buck 110 CPM154 Bos Rosewood folder this afternoon. I have subdued my excitement but this is one outstanding blade immediately becoming a favorite right behind my Alpha Hunters.
The blackening, rather than a paint job appears to be a chemical "bluing" in appearance to that of a firearm except more dark gray, a rather pleasing alternative to dull surface coatings so common on knives these days. Obviously, quality reigns at Buck!
If these were hot cakes at a church breakfast someone went home hungry. These knives are without a doubt some of the best ever made. I have three 110s: 440C, ATS34, and now CPM154. Can't wait for the nerxt batch of surprises! Buck, you did good.
