I this topic and wondered if sealing the Weber cubes in a Mylar bag with oxygen absorbers would help extend their shelf life or dry them out?
 
I have found many uses for Ezy Dose pill pouches including tinder storage. You can pick them up at most drug stores or any large store with a pharmacy. I have no experience with the Weber starters, petroleum jelly cotton balls, dryer lint, fatwood, and jute twine seem to provide what I need.
