we outsource our search engine optimization as part of our overall marketing, but they have offered that whenever we create information on the web, we host it on our website. when we share these LinkedIn or other places, always link back to the site. This promotes website hits and interactions to further boost search results.

Thanks for the input and confirmation! Do you happen to have any information or input on the impact of Google Knowledge Panels-- if they are a marketing plus or minus? (I'll add that I don't sell on Amazon, through dealers or shops, so it's up to me generate and sustain interest in my books and have a certain level of credibility.)

annr annr I don't know about the knowledge panels. I don't think it would be a disadvantage to have some control over them, but not sure how much of an advantage it would be.
