I've been looking at all of your excellent blades for so long that I have to show you some of mine! I've only been working on this website for a couple of days, it's nothing much at all, really just practice for the day when I have the knowledge and can afford to build a really nice commercial site. The photos are not very good, but I would nevertheless be very pleased if any of you would take a quick spin around my site to check it out. Here's the link: http://sites.google.com/site/vorpalcustomknives/

Looking good.
Suggestions: Your "about me" and "style" pages has no title, therefore they are listed as untitled on the sitemap. You may buy a domain name for about 8 $ and redirect the incoming traffic to that google site.

Thanks for the advice. I can see that you are right about the sitemap. I'll probably get a domain name a little later when I have much of a site to look at. Thank you for checking it out!

Thanks, David. I just dove into building it on a whim, but already I'm having fun with it. Which is relieving to me, since I have only a basic understanding of computers. Oh, and I fixed that "untitled pages" problem. Alllllright!

Thank you, Richard. Those little patch knives are a quick fun little project and work great for demonstration.

Looks good. A picture of a knife or some artistic blacksmith work on the home page would draw the viewer into your sight, so they don't get bored quickly and leave. Also, include the city you are currently living in.

Do you live in Tonasket? My mother lives on Havillah road! She has a nice 50 acre plot on top of the mountain. There is a machinist who lives up there and specializes in reproducing medievil weaponry. He's built a several swords, and full size ballistas, one of which he's currently finishing up and ready to test. He's a riot. His name is Nick and he has an English accent. You might know him, as the town is rather small. Oh, and my mom is Bonnie.

Take Care,
Brook

Thanks Terry and Brook - good suggestion about the knife pics up top and stating my location. Yes, I am about to move back to the mountains above Tonasket, as soon as I can save up enough money to leave Kaneohe. (2-3 mos.) I know exactly where Havillah road is, it's beautiful country and your mom must have some great property up there. I have to look into this guy "Nick," maybe I even know who that is. It sure is a small town, after all.

Very nice site for a start. Keep at it. Looks like you've been forging awhile.
I hope to do more forging when I get home if my body says I can.
Great looking knives by the way.

Oldwolf: Thank you sir for your kind words. If your hammer elbow troubles you, did you ever try milling a slot in your hammer handle like wayne goddard? He says it helps a lot.:)

I don't even know how to make a website. Google offers a free website builder now that gives you simple point and click options to create your pages just like a document. Check out "Google sites" if you feel like giving it a try. If I can do it anyone can! Can't hurt, anyway.
