I need the WebSite of that Spyderco Knock-off outfit (the Bob-T knock-offs). I know that it's been posted a while ago in one of the threads, but without the search capability on BF, it is a daunting task to find it again!

I need it in order to find a few pics for use with the Spydie Desktop Themes (on the recycle bin, etc!)

The above site takes you to a web site owned by a Double 8 employee, Alton James.

The site below shows a bunch of Spyderco knock-offs and the dealer is taking some heat for it in the dealer for sale board.

The funny thing is this guy is buying these things from Boker USA which is the importer for Maxxam knives. A couple of years ago Boker was bitching about a Taiwan company who knocked off their Top Lock's. Now they are bringing in Spyderco knock-offs?

I think what Heyns was looking for, is the Master ATF (Advanced Tactical Fighter.. sounds like a jet to me). Looks like a Starmate minus the thumb-hole.

Dan - the Bob "T" "Starmate" is the Bob "T" "Starfighter" with the hole added.

Thanks for the info! I will send the first attempts to Sal and Danelle for their consent (the whole Spydie Desktop Theme). The whole thing will be done in the VERY NEAR future!

Sal, thanks for the info. As I've never seen a Starfighter before, I was assuming that it was a Starmate minus the hole.

Even the handle design's the same.. sheesh...

Please refer to the "Knives for Sale: Dealers" forum. I could stand it no longer and posted a rant there.
