Wedding bells and the HI Nepali shipping staff loses a member.

Shown in the pix are part time Himalayan Imports Nepali shipping staffer Chokpa Sherpa and her fiancee, Samthan Lama. This evening these two will be married here in Reno. Next Saturday they will fly to New York where Samthan lives and works and make a life for themselves there -- if one can call living and working in NYC a life. Forgive me New Yorkers, I'm a small town boy and NYC has always been just too much for me.

I wish them luck. In this day and age they will need it.

Thanks, all. I'll relay messages to Chokpa and Samthan. They met in NYC and have stayed in touch via two hour phone calls almost every night after they are off work. As some Buddhists believe, they think it is their karma to be together and who am I to argue the point.
