Alright guys,

I was on here looking for groomsmen's gifts a week or two back and a bunch of you gave me awesome ideas. My wedding is tomorrow (October 7th), so, my wonder is this: What did you all carry to a/your wedding, if anything? I will try to post a pic tomorrow or mine.

Thanks Guys.

Congrats on your wedding, enjoy the day!

Oh, and I didn't carry anything on mine.

Congrats! When I got married (17 years ago now), I carried a Victorinox Tourist. It was sort of a joke. I told my bride I needed to be ready for anything! :D Carried the same knife during the births of all 3 of our kids. Know they call it my lucky knife. So do I.

I think I carried a Mini Buck (425 maybe) but that's just because it was what I carried on my key chain every day. I've always liked knives but I wasn't into them when I got married 13 years ago like I am now.

Congratulations! What time should I show up for the bachelor party?:D

Congrats on gettin' hitched!

I got married in April 2015, and while I was just starting to get back into pocket knives, I didn't have very many. The Case Toothpick I bought while on my Honeymoon is what really kicked things off for me.

That being said: I don't remember if I carried a knife on my wedding day, honestly. If I did, it was either my Buck 55 or Ka-Bar Dog's Head Stockman. The Ka-Bar was my first "nice" knife, and I carried it whenever I wore a suit; so there's a good chance that it was in my pocket.

Just my Wenger Esquire on my keychain. I knew it was going to be quite the soirée and a long night. I didn’t want to chance doing something like turning in my wadded up tux the next morning with one of my favorite knives still clipped to a pocket.

I carried a Gerber Silver Knight, very much like this one, although the one for my wedding was lost some time ago.

IMG_5567.JPG I carried a single blade slim stainless framed Puma. I'll try to get a pic when I get home.

It was a dark period between knife obsessions, so nothing. I couldn’t have carried anything anyway, because we went from our ceremony straight to the limo to take us to our cruise ship.

didn't carry one on my wedding day , however last october i walked my lovely daughter down the aisle and had a schrade usa34ot in the pocket. last weekend i gifted it to her as a reminder of my love for her and the OTHER old timer

34 years ago? Have no idea. Too long ago and besides, my focus was elsewhere.

Warmest congratulations and best wishes for a long and happy life together.

Thanks for all the warm wishes. Also, thanks for all of the tidbits and pictures. I enjoy reading/seeing them. The ceremony is less than 20 hours away at this point. Getting close. Haha.

I posted a thread on this when I got married. Seems like yesterday but will be 5 years next Friday.

I had never owned a Jack although I always loved them. I bought a Great Eastern 76 in copperhead jig. Sharpened it and saved it for my wedding. Pocketed it for the first time when I put on my suit and headed for the ceremony.

I still love my wife and my wedding knife. :)

Will

Congrats Murdamook!

I don't recall what I carried at my wedding. My son just got married in June though and I carried my elk handled stainless Gordo that I made.

With the wife and daughter prior to the ceremony, ya can see my knife above my left front pocket:

Dancing with my daughter afterwards at the reception, little closer view of my knife:

My son carried his blue bone handled Case trapper in his pocket. Here it is another day. I cleaned it up and sharpened it for him:
