About to go to a wedding right now, debating whether to bring my benchmade 940 or dragonfly 2 g10 just because they'll be light in my suit. Which knife have you or would you bring to a wedding?

Lighter and less blade is usually more at a wedding, do you have a nice slip Joint? The last wedding I went to I carried a Mnandi.

Vic Alox Bantam. The bottle opener might come in handy at the reception.

Thin and slim are what I usually aim for, just because formal-wear tends to not be as accommodating. The Leek and Flash 1 are two that have been regulars in the past. I'll also carry a SAK (Super Tinker or Yeoman) w/ scissors in my jacket's inside pocket. That one actually has gotten more use than anything else. The 0450 would also be a good pick.

I don't do pocket clips in dress clothes.

I like a Vic Bantam or Secretary for dress occasions.

Depends on how formal the wedding is. (I've worn jeans at weddings and have been considered "properly dressed for the occasion")

For a formal wedding, I have a Buck 501 that I got from the Buck Custom shop in S30V and immaculate fit and finish. For something less formal, I will carry a small stockman.

I have an Old Pre-war two blade boys knife, with with some Great character on the blades as well as Ebony scales and nickel silver bolsters and shield. That tends to go nicely with a suit.
If not that, I carry a beer scout.

Given your two choices, I would go with the 940 if you plan on wearing your jacket All night. But, make sure it is clipped vertically next to your wallet.
If you plan on ditching the jacket, bring the D-fly.

Blacked out Roadhouse, wedding, funeral, christening, bar mitzvah or just the bar...I'll have one ready.:D

IWB whatever I feel like with the clip under my belt. Last wedding it was my CRKT Voodoo.

The G10 DF is a good choice but the Nishijin DF is better, as is the carbon fiber Chaparral.

At my nephew s wedding last year, I carried a Sage 1 iwb under my belt. At my daughter s wedding 2 years ago, I carried my William Henry Gentac. Two of my favorite gentlemen s knives.

I carried a Buck Stockman during my wedding. Carried a Byrd Tern at my daughter's wedding (clipped to the breast pocket of my tux). Gave it to my new son in law after the reception.

I'd go with the Dragonfly.
