Anyone in the area tomorrow stop over.:D I got a big pot of corned beef and cabbage I'll be cooking up.:thumbup: It will be cooked the Portagee way. HEHEHEHEHEHE!!!!;) :eek: :D

Hey, I've had IG's cooking before, and compared to me, he's a gourmet cheff !! If he's doing corned beaf and cabage portugese style, I bet it's pretty damn good =P

Fatzo!!! It will only be a improvement.:D :D Stick some HT'g relish and a Portagee sausage in it and it gives it a nice tang. HEHEHEHEHE!!!

Sounds cool Bubba!!!!:thumbup: Looking at the end of April for the HI. What do you think of this for door prize 12" forge body and burner???? All it would need is a blower, bricks, Inswool, ITC-100 and gas hook up.:D BBBB Beaver and I will be making up other door prizes too.:D

I have no doubt it will be different, and probably most excellent. :thumbup: They'd like it here in the barrio. ;)

I'm sure there's a name for stuffing a chorizo in salt beef and sprinkling hot sauce on it, but it sure ain't "Corned Beef and Cabbage" the way I know it. At least yer using beef and not smoked pork butt, or I'd have to make up a name. :D

Salt beef, boiled, with a small bit of black pepper; some add a bay leaf. Remove beef and boil cabbage. Optional red potatoes would be boiled before the cabbage, then peeled, buttered and parseleyed. A hard bread to sop up the butter from the potatoes.

Plain and simple food, the poor Irish-American workingman's meal, in celebration of my heritage. It's for appreciating the better things life has brought.

Dave, I forgot to tell you the luncheon menu. :eek: :eek: It will be three different kinds of bean dishes.:confused: It will range from 5 beers a bowl to one beer a bowl.;) Chili @ 5+, Favas @ 3 and Baked Beans @ 1. :cool: I am planning a vacuum system attached to 100# propane tank to capture all the escaping gases. HEHEHEHEHE!!!

Looks like I should be able to make it. What should I bring on down? If you want something other than bud I can pick it up for you. I'm not much of a cook, I can burn water even, but I can pick stuff up at the store. :o

As far as the forge goes, my package from Darren Ellis wont arrive till monday anyways so I wouldnt have the fire bricks or ITC 100 yet anyways, and I didnt get any kaowool as of yet since Larry said he thinks he had enough left over that I could get enough from him for the body. :p
