Nice work, but you have something on your thumb.... Can't quite make it out, almost looks like a ring. Whatever happened to pinky rings?

JUST TEASING... I am sorry that you will be laid off but look on the bright side, you can make many knives. I have never had a job that lays off like some, it must suck because you can't rely on a paycheck all the time. I'll pray for ya brother.

thanks sam, i realy try and make the best knife i can. these babys are pure work horses.

Looks good! Its fun to have them start to pile up isnt it. Of course it more fun to have the cash pile up. New home sales are down all over the place. The economy is not looking good right now. Hopefully when people get there tax returns they will either buy some knives or start building again. I know my sales have taken a hit but what can you do?

Good luck.

well its cheeper to buy a knife than a house so at least i have that going for me. im going to try and find a night job so i can do knives in the day. these knives have been heat treated and are in the oven right now. the spine has been left soft with a hard edge.

I like those a ton! Looks like you have been busy since Christmas.
Are you looking for something temp, until the regular picks back up, or more permanent? I will try and call my bro-in law and see if he has any info on my old company hiring. It's the place I told you about when we were grinding during Christmas. Good benefits, pay for 68% of books and tuition etc. I will try and get a hold of some one tomorrow and see if they have anything if you want.

that would be great. i was actualy going to look them up and see if thay had any openings. thanks so much.
